Well, the block project was successful, even though we spent the first hour and a half doing almost nothing because there were only two microfilm machines and they were both occupied. So basically we sat around an hour and a half to discover only that no one lived on our block in 1950. But our day was brightened by Eric...and then continued to improve when we found that in 1880 there was a boarding house, yes, lucky us, on our block just filled with borders! Didn't take us too long though, and we got home around 4, a whole lot earlier than I thought (considering I thought they were going to have to drag us out of the library at 5, kicking and screaming because we weren't finished yet). And then came the mall, where we basically migrated from place to place only to stand in a group and smell cell phone covers...hmm, sounds like a blast, doesn't it? But I had a good time, good company is most important =) Ah, wait...no, the TMI part can go on my personal blog...
