I'm so fucking bored.

Sunday, June 29, 2003

so here's what the 4th of july looks like from my neck of the woods:

Alfred James Band will playing at Narberth's Concert Under The Stars on the 4th. there will be fireworks after their set, and once the sun is down. Alfred goes on at 7, I plan on being there at least an hour early for the opening band.

Everyone, and i do mean everyone, well, except for that person in new york that i don't like (and no, i don't mean you deb or rach), is invited to come.

I live in Bryn Mawr, Narberth is about a 5-10 minute drive from my house.

Dinner would probably be simple, involving fast food and/or wawa runs.

Spread the word around, if anyone who wants to show up could let me know by the 3rd, that'd be awesome. and of course, let me know if you need directions. (Nick, if you're not there i'll wallop you in the head.)

i'd like to give my shout out of the day to none other than grapefruit juice.

honestly, this stuff is so rancidly bitter that you can't help feeling studly while chugging it down. to all you wannabe men out there: your manly-quotient will increase 200% with one glass of grapefruit juice a day. i should start a revolution with this stuff.

hullo bloggers! yes, it's been forever and a day since I've posted. Madness!
So summer is wonderful. Laziness is even wonderfuller. My sleepaholic tendencies can play out now, and it makes me very happy. =)
The one downside is the heat. Up here (on the third floor) it's wicked hot. And it smells like an animal died up here. Must burn incense...
I need to get out more, y'all. Someone throw a party. Please. (And yes, I did spend 2 days in isolation in order to read the new Harry Potter book, but that's done now and I want to leave isolation.)

i laugh because tom is choosing to go die in death valley instead of come to concerts with me. and what concerts is he missing so far, you might ask?

well, there's that free guster show on saturday.

and there's that placebo show that was going to be his graduation present.

and then, just announced, is the Idlewild show on the 17th.

not to mention all the lefty's deciever shows going on every time you turn your head.

summer concert series scorecard:
m'ris: 4
tom: Zilcho

and by the way, my summer concert wishlist is posted at http://www.livejournal.com/users/earthdotprime/215771.html?mode=reply (and no, i can't make it a happy concise linky thing, i'm inept, sod off.)

anyone who wants to go to any of those with me should post a comment on that page and we'll figure out logisticy things.

And, while I'm at it, My Big, Fat, Greek Wedding.

The Matrix: Reloaded Script.

hey chortlers and snorters

i realized tonight that sleep deprivation should be celebrated in our society

i believe it takes away our inhibitions. removes our self imposed limits and lets our minds, bodies, and spirits ascend to a new level of self-realization and omniprescence.

i believe that a group of talented people working together on say, the 96th hour of a self regimented sleep deprivation cycle could conceivably create the greatest invention known to man

i believe it is our fate to be here. it is our destiny. i believe that this night holds the very meaning.. of our.. lives.

understand why i just quoted that matrix reloaded quote from memory, and you'll understand the true benefits of sleep deprivation (aka, staying up really late)

Underrated movie: Drumline. If only it was longer. Some of those solos were sick..

Saturday, June 14, 2003

so andrew missed heathers birthday part last night because he marked it down as the 16, not the 13. and now he feels like he needs to jump off a bridge. Im sooo sorry... god damn... dyslexia or something.... mumble mumble mumble...

Heh. Don't worry, I'll be glad to make sure the blog remains maintained and free of errors. It would be a pleasure. Now all I have to do is refresh my HTML knowledge...

*He scratches his chin while staring off into empty space..*

"You know, dressing in drag wasn't that bad..."

(Then, our hero snaps back to reality..)

Great music, great fun, great party.
